Knitwear
Our wool products include garments made from natural wool yarns, which offer incredible warmth, wrinkle resistance and longevity, as well as garments made from luxe Merino wool. Merino wool has finer fibres than other wool yarns, resulting in fabric which is even softer and smoother than traditional wool. We recommend handwashing knit garments, including those made from natural wool yarns, Merino wool, and wool blends. The super-fine fibres of these fabrics make them especially vulnerable to heat and friction damage.
For best results, use an approved wool detergent and do not bleach, soak, wring or rub. To dry your knitwear, gently squeeze out excess water by hand and line dry in the shade. Reshape whilst damp, and never tumble dry. If you need to iron your knitwear, always use steam and choose the wool setting. Where possible, iron before the fabric is completely dry. If you need to de-pill your knitwear, we recommend a knitwear comb or electronic fabric-shaver. To keep your wool products safe from moths or other damage throughout the summer months, be sure to put them away completely clean. Store with cedar balls, but ensure the cedar isn’t directly touching your knitwear to avoid stains.
