Synthetic Fibres
Synthetic fibres such as polyester, polyamide, nylon and elastane are fast drying, easy care and good at holding their shape. As part of our fabric sourcing strategy, we are focusing on producing polyester products crafted by non-virgin fibres and, where possible, using recycled polyester. Recycled polyester not only creates a luxuriously soft fabric, it helps reduce plastic waste and gives a second life to material that isn’t biodegradable.
To maintain the shape, colour and appearance of your garments made from synthetic fibres while also reducing your environmental impact, we recommend washing less frequently. Spot clean stains in between washes, and air and steam your garments to keep them fresh. We recommend a cold machine wash on a short cycle with a gentle spin. Wash inside out with similar colours, and do not soak, rub or bleach. Air dry your synthetic garments immediately in the shade and do not tumble dry. If your synthetic garments need ironing, choose a cool setting and iron inside out.
